'Sunday Times' Columnist Describes Crisis Pregnancy Agency (CPA) as 'Pro-Choice Group'

No one could accuse the "Sunday Times" of having a pro-life bias—what Sunday paper has? Like its peers it likes to spice up its news section with a mishmash of old and new, yet now and then it contains a gem, however unintended. This was the case in its December 16 edition where it ran a piece entitled "Rivals take abortion fight into cinemas", leading off with the announcement that “Pro-life and pro-choice groups are… bringing their message to the multiplexes”. The article was old news about something that happened last June. That is the Sunday papers for you. There was, however, one curious aspect of this piece that will enrage some and confirm what many of us have long noted. So, who are these groups named as advertising in Irish cinemas? There are but two. Family & Life was the pro-life group with its cinema ad, "Life is Precious", but who was the named "pro-choice" group?  None other than the Crisis Pregnancy Agency (CPA). How very significant. Here was a "pro-choice" newspaper (naturally) calling the statutory body set up to reduce abortions in Ireland "pro-choice". Details: CLICK TO READ MORE.....

‘To All Intents and Purposes’ the Crisis Pregnancy Agency is Pro-Abortion

According to an editorial in the “Irish Catholic” newspaper, “protracted negotiations between the bishops and the Crisis Pregnancy Agency (CPA) makes for fascinating, but also for worrying reading”. “The negotiations appear to have had a relatively happy outcome in that funding to CURA, the Irish bishops’ pregnancy counselling agency, will continue and CURA will not have to hand out contact details of pro-abortion organisations to their clients but instead refer them to a GP. However, opined the editorial, “what makes for concerning reading throughout most of the documentation on the negotiations is that it was the bishops who were constantly under pressure to justify their position with regard to counselling when it should have been the CPA that was under pressure to justify forcing a pro-life body like CURA to hand out phone numbers of pro-abortion bodies. To all intents and purposes the Crisis Pregnancy Agency is itself pro-choice (sic).” Details: CLICK TO READ MORE.....

‘The Actuary’: Breast Cancer Epidemic's Impact From Abortion Is Serious

“The Actuary”, a professional magazine for actuaries in the UK, published an article, "The Breast Cancer Epidemic", discussing the impact of the epidemic in England and Wales for the life and health insurance and health care industries through 2029. The article was based on forecasts of breast cancer rates originally published last month in the “Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons” which highlighted the abortion-breast cancer link. The forecasts may be used to plan treatment facilities and calculate insurance premiums and reserves, as more insurance claims and litigation are expected. The article reported that the epidemic would be costly for the insurance industry and consumers. ABC Coalition. The Actuary. CLICK TO READ MORE.....

Swedish Parliament Approves Effort to Become International Abortion Hotspot

The Swedish Parliament has approved a bill that would make Sweden an international destination for women seeking abortions. Foreign women will now be allowed to have abortions in Sweden under the new law which facilitates what detractors call "abortion tourism" by offering abortions to women from nations where the practice is illegal. "The abortion law is going to be changed so that foreign women will be allowed to have abortions in Sweden", a statement from parliament said. Previously, only women from Sweden could have abortions unless the national health office gave special permission. According to the AFP news agency, 134 members of parliament supported the bill while 124 opposed it and 91 members abstained. LifeNews.com. CLICK TO READ MORE.....
