Pro-Life Holy Hour in Dublin
A Pro Life holy hour takes place weekly in St Joseph's Carmelite Church, Berkeley Road Dublin commencing on Friday 18th November, 2005.
Participants hope to pray for those using the local family planning and reproductive choices clinics and for the protection of Ireland from the scourge of abortion.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament follows the 5.45 p.m. Mass and the Holy Hour will close with Benediction at 7.15 p.m. The Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet and Litany of the Precious Blood of Our Lord will be recited as will an invocation to the saints.
(This church of St Joseph's has a beautiful stained-glass window of the Holy Family and contains many saints shrines including, most prominently ,St Gerard Majella a pro-life Patron, and Saint Oliver Plunkett and the Irish martyrs.)
