In every parish in Ireland there are groups and individuals involved in local pro-life, pro-family activities. Coupled with this there are a range of small national organisations which have a specific forte for specific issues, whether it be bioethics, Christian media, pro-life prayer groups, pregnancy support or simply the showing of one of our powerful DVD's in the local parish hall. Throughout the year Family & Life receives requests from such groups and individuals for financial and/or other types of assistance to enable the realisation of a particular activity. So, the Community Sponsorship Programme has become a vital resource for individuals and groups to engage in local and some national activities for the benefit of the unborn and the family.
