Experts Warn on HPV Vaccination for Children

Not long after Ireland’s Minister for Health Mary Harney gave the green-light to a national human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccination programme for girls from September 2009, the “New England Journal of Medicine” (NEJM) published two articles questioning the wisdom of such programmes. The NEJM posted two articles that asked why two human papillomavirus vaccines have been so widely promoted, given their unproven effectiveness and high costs. International researchers have warned there is a HPV, which... Details: CLICK TO READ MORE.....

Ireland’s Birth Rate Rises as Migration Falls Steeply

Net migration into Ireland fell steeply in the year to the end of April, but the number of births in the State increased to its highest point since 1980, according to new population and migration data from the Central Statistics Office (CSO). There were an estimated 72,300 births in the 12 months to April 2008, while the excess of births over deaths, known as the natural increase, was 44,600. The natural increase in the population has surged almost threefold since its low point of 16,600 in the year to April 1994 and has now overtaken net migration as the main driver of population growth for the first time… Details: CLICK TO READ MORE.....

'Anti-Natal' Society Tells UK Parents Not to have Big Families

The UK’s “Daily Telegraph” reported recently on a study by the think-tank Civitas which claims that the middle-classes are made to feel guilty about the impact on the environment and the damage to their careers if they have a large family. Parents are warned that everything from house prices to car tax makes it far more expensive for them to raise more than two children. The report, however, says that this "anti-natal" prejudice against large families is misplaced, and that young people who have lots of brothers and sisters grow up happier and better-adjusted than… Details: CLICK TO READ MORE.....

Rape Victim Refuses Pressure to have Abortion

In the UK, when 16 year-old Elizabeth Cameron found she was pregnant after being brutally gang raped, "practically everyone" in her life said she had every moral and legal right to kill her daughter by abortion. But Elizabeth defied the world's wisdom and says, now that her daughter Phoebe is a toddler, that she could not imagine life without her. "Every time I look at Phoebe, I know I made the right decision. I never wanted to end my baby's life just because of how she came to be," she told the Daily Mail. So great was the pressure on Elizabeth, a regular churchgoer, to have an abortion, "That Phoebe exists at all almost defies belief." Only Elizabeth's mother, Sarah, suggested... Late Term Abortion on the Rise in France

Post 12-week abortions performed in France, which are only permitted for specific “medical reasons”, increased by 10% in 2006 with a reported 6,787 compared to 6,093 in 2005. France’s Biomedical Agency which released its 2006 figures reported that the number of requests for ‘interruption of pregnancy for medical reasons’ (IMG) has remained constant since the last report. In France, abortion is illegal after the 12th week of pregnancy, but a woman can still procure one until the 32nd week if there is evidence of some kind of abnormality. According to the agency, only 2.7% of the abortions were performed in an effort to preserve the health... Details: CLICK TO READ MORE.....

Former Abortionist Bernard Nathanson —'Abortion is Now Primarily About Birth Control'

In a interview on Canadian radio recently, a former abortion provider, now pro-life, reminded his listeners of how the American public was misled about the number of illegal and incomplete abortions. Dr Bernard Nathanson, co-founder of the National Abortion Rights Action League, also said: "Abortion is now being used primarily as a method of birth control all over the world and...
