NO to DIY Abortion Campaign

29.11.2021

The Devil never sleeps, nor do the pro-abortionists. Even as Covid-19 spread across Ireland and caused a major dislocation of vital hospital services, the pro-abortionists demanded the suspension of the requirement for a patient to have a face-to-face meeting with a doctor before being given the DIY abortion drugs. The Minister for Health then dispensed this requirement while the pandemic lasts, allowing a “remote” consultation, which as you and I know, may be nothing more than a list of questions with a yes-or-no answer.

The DIY abortion drugs are dangerous. Stop. There are horrific accounts of unsuspecting women becoming seriously ill after taking the two abortion drugs. A study found that more than 10,000 women in the UK in 2020 needed hospital treatment after using the DIY drugs in what is called a “medical abortion”.

We collected thousands of signatures in a petition to the Minister, pointing out that dispensing permanently with a face-to-face consultation sets a dangerous precedent and increases risks for women. No prizes for guessing that this is what the pro-abortion lobby is demanding. Late Term Abortion Secret in Irish Hospitals.

The revelations about late-term abortions in Ireland’s public hospitals appeared in the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2020, a source that could not be challenged or denied. It was not welcomed by the HSE or publicised by the media because it is so horrifying. I guess that it must be an official secret for those nurses and doctors who carry out these procedures.

We launched a nationwide awareness campaign using video and specific messages. We were inundated with comments and reports, many from doctors and nurses, saying that they found the practice shocking and sickening. If you recall, the abortion report itself makes for grim reading. One doctor described performing foeticide as akin to “stabbing the baby in the heart”. Others said it was “brutal” and “awful”, while one recounted: “I remember getting sick out in the corridor afterwards because I thought it [foeticide] was such an awful procedure and so dreadful.”

Our campaign against Late Term Abortion will intensify in 2022, and, please God, we will make significant progress to have this barbaric practice abolished.
