Read up on issues about unborn human life through Family & Life’s website, its Personal Update newsletter as well as in books, newspapers, and magazine articles. 
Check out pressing pro-life / pro-family issues and send Family & Life key information (magazine and newspaper articles, etc.). It is important to keep abreast of current issues and concerns, and to be well informed.
HELP OTHERS 
Be a Part of the Schools Project 
Connect Family & Life to a secondary school with the purpose of having the ‘Educate for Life’ team invited to the school. This vital work promotes the Culture of Life among today’s young people. 
Become a Schools Project volunteer, helping to transport the team and their equipment. 
Join the Special Events Team 
Be a friendly point of contact at a Family & Life conference stall. Help sell books and distribute free material at conferences, book fairs and public events (such as a Healing Mass).
 
Pray
The one thing we can all do is pray. Prayer changes hearts and gives hope. 
Pray for… 
- The innocent victims of abortion; 
- Those wounded by abortion
– mothers and fathers alike; 
- Those in government who make decisions and enact legislation that can affect for better or for worse the cause of life. 
Start a Prayer Group in your area, or introduce the cause of the unborn in the petitions of an existing group. 
Request free prayer cards from Family & Life to be distributed at churches, within your family, and to friends and strangers alike. 
You never can tell what kind of tremendous impact such a small act may have. God can use you to speak to the heart of another!
SHARE THE MESSAGE
Become a Host/Hostess 
Host a small group for a private lecture on topics such as bioethics or disability (provided by Patrick Carr [BA/Masters in Theological Studies, background in Bioethical Studies]). 
Host and organise a group of people interested in the work of Family & Life to receive a private update on the charity’s activities (we can provide this for you in your place of residence). 
Organise a group in your parish to meet and discuss pro-life issues (Family & Life can provide you with a guest speaker if needed). 
Become a Distribution Volunteer 
Give out pro-life leaflets in your community. 
Leave extra Personal Updates or leaflets for others to freely take in churches, shops and local businesses—always with their permission. 
Order extra Personal Updates to share with family and friends, or pass along their addresses to Family & Life.
