Family & Life is working urgently to amplify the voices of Christians in northern Nigeria, where entire communities are being wiped out in a campaign of terror by Fulani and Boko Haram, that has left villages burned, families slaughtered in their sleep, churches destroyed, and more than 90,000 Catholics displaced with nowhere to go.

The people Bishop Mark serves are enduring night‑time raids in which farmers, mothers, children, and even unborn babies are killed; farmlands are seized; women are assaulted; priests are kidnapped; and whole parishes are erased from the map. What they face is not only a humanitarian emergency but an existential threat to their faith, their homes, and their future.

Our mission is to bring their suffering out of the shadows, to awaken Christians across Ireland and beyond to the scale of this horror, to stand with Bishop Mark and his people, and to rally prayer, advocacy, and material support so that these communities are not abandoned in their darkest hour.
