Once an Abortionist, Now a Doctor for Life
11.11.2021
Dr Anthony Levatino was a professional obstetrician who turned to abortion because the money was good and he wanted to help women with their problems; until one day he looked at “that pile of body parts” and all he could see was “somebody’s son or daughter”. From then on, he walked away from abortion, and devoted his life to spread the pro-life message that abortion is murder and destroys the lives of mothers and babies.
We recorded an interview (webinar) with Dr Levatino, and used key quotes from it to produce two powerful, video adverts, just over a minute long, with his message. We launched an advertising campaign directed to medical professionals, too often conscripted to perform abortions in our public hospitals.
A really powerful statement from the get-go that would grab anyone watching and was later followed by another chilling quote. “Sometimes a little face stares back at you”. These quotes capture the reality and barbarity of abortion.
The videos contain Dr. Levatino’s story of his moment of realisation that abortion is wrong and his decision to walk away from the abortion industry, a stark warning for any medical professional thinking about performing abortions. It has a personal cost and a message for those performing abortions that they can always walk away like he did himself.
This video was targeted at multiple medical professionals across our social media platforms to which it received a great reception. Most importantly these powerful pro-life messages reached tens of thousands of people on Facebook and Instagram
We also created a video for the general public explaining the humanity and viability of an unborn baby and Dr. Levatino's post-abortion medical career of saving these babies, lives and the lives of the mother and crucially, that he does not need to perform abortions to achieve that goal.
“Only 2 weeks after you miss your period, your baby has a heartbeat. At 10 weeks your baby is actively moving. You can see this on an ultrasound”. This goes against the narrative that an unborn baby is just a blob of tissue."
