Rally for Life 2022 / Heritage Foundation’s Tour of Ireland:

21.12.2022

I was recently reminded of the annual Rally for Life held last July with around 10,000 - 15,000 people in attendance. It is a credit to the organisers that such numbers were attracted to march in the streets of Dublin.

Sarah Ekada of Family & Life was among the speakers and gave an impassioned speech, drawing on the inspiration from the near 50-year fight that led to America’s overturning of Roe v Wade. Sarah was joined by other great speakers such as Carol Nolan, Dr Dermot Kearney and Vicky Wall. It was a great day with a great crowd where everybody played a part in making it a successful event, and Family & Life was honoured to support and participate.

In stark contrast, at the Rally for Abortion held in September, the organisers could scarcely muster 50 people to their cause. I suppose when you have the support of the law, numbers fade. Heritage Foundation’s Tour of Ireland: We are getting closer to nailing down the particulars around our Nationwide Speaking Tour, which will offer a blueprint for rebuilding Ireland’s Culture of Life.

We have invited world-class speakers from The Heritage Foundation, one of the most influential pro-life public policy organisations in the US. The Heritage Foundation played a seminal part in the battle to overturn Roe v Wade, and establish pro-life laws in States across the United States. They have been working hard to assist pro-life candidates in the US midterm elections, and once these elections are out of the way, we will be in a better position to fix the itinerary of this speaking tour.

This hands-on, how-to, Speaking Tour, entitled Rebuilding Ireland’s Culture of Life from the Ground Up, will help pro-life volunteers throughout Ireland discover the strategies that led to America’s Supreme Court 180-degree turn on legalised baby-killing.

We intend to invest a lot of time and resources into this tour and visit as many areas as possible during its duration. Once the dates and locations have been finalised, you will be the first to know.
